Weekly WordPress News: Plugin Releases, Licensing, and WordPress on a USB Drive

Several major plugin releases happened this week, including updates to WooCommerce 2.6, Yoast 3.3, and Gravity Forms 2.0. You should have plenty of new features to play with.


You can also check out a fun guide for running a full WordPress install off a flash drive, and dig into 101 worthwhile  web design blogs to find some inspiration for your next theme.


I had a nice talk with Matt from Matt Report on the acquisition of WPLift.


Finally, remember to always get the licenses to your plugins, even if you have a developer create your site.

  • Say hello to WooCommerce 2.6 “Zipping Zebra” – WooCommerce 2.6 is out. New features include shipping zones and a new design for account pages, among others.
