Giant Moray Eel
Similan Islands, Thailand
This is a giant moray eel. They can grow up to 9 feet long, but often all you see is just the head sticking out of a hole. One of just many strange beautiful creatures I discovered on my 3 day scuba diving trip around Thailand’s Similan Islands. I decided to rent a small underwater digital camera, and it produced some pretty decent photos with the flash.
