Original ‘Darksiders’ Coming To Current-Gen Consoles
According to Winbeta, the original “Darksiders” will be re-released to Microsoft’s Xbox One. Nordic Games announced this at Gamepolis 2016. Aside from this, “Darksiders” is also expected to arrive for Nintendo Wii U, Sony PlayStation and Microsoft Xbox One.
Per the report, the “Darksiders” re-release will include remastered graphics and better physical disk and digital version. Unfortunately, the release date remains unknown. However, fans should not be dismayed because the re-release of the original “Darksiders” is confirmed this year.
Per Destructoid, the original “Darksiders” is set for the last quarter of 2016 release. For those who want to enjoy the original “Darksiders” in the current-gen consoles (PS4, Xbox One, and even Wii U), the title will be priced at $20 only.
‘Darksiders’ Remake In The Works
Meanwhile, per Movie News Guide, Nordic Games is already working on a remastered version of the first game of “Darksiders.” The team has already made a remastered version of “Darksiders 2,” so it only makes sense to have a remastered version of the original game.
Per ComicBook, Nordic Games acquired the “Darksiders” series in 2014 but the team did so little with the franchise. Now, they are already active in improving the series. After releasing an ultimate edition for “Darksiders 2″ the first game is about to get the same treatment.
