“Clash Of Clans'” Treasury update has been released, and it ushers in three new gameplay mechanics to foster loot farming in Town Hall 11. Its Treasury, Star Bonus and Loot Cart have the potential to drastically change how the game’s strategies are enacted.
The news comes to Design Trend via the official changelog on the “Clash Of Clans” forums. It details everything that prospective loot farmers need to know.
As previously explained, the Treasury is the newest and safest place to guard loot bonuses from attackers. It’s essentially an updated take on the “war loot storage” feature, and, as such, all perks associated with that have been changed to favor the Treasury. How much loot the building can hold is determined by one’s Town Hall level and the Clan Perks they have available. Visually, Clan Castles no longer have loot storage bunkers on their roofs. The Treasury is a substitute for those.
A major type of loot bonus that the Treasury stores is the Daily Star Bonus. Each day that a player earns five stars in multiplayer combat, they’re rewarded with a designated amount of extra loot based on their league level. The maximum Star Bonus will be offered to those in the Titan III league and above.
Last in the trio is the Loot Cart. Following every defense, a broken down Loot Cart appears in the player’s village. It contains 20 percent of the resources from the most recent attack. However, it must be gathered quickly because only one can be spawned at a time. It should be noted that any collected Loot Cart resources aren’t stolen from the attacker. They are simply duplicated in the Treasury of the defender. The only time carts aren’t useful is when storages are already full.
While those three pillars are the main thrust of the Treasury update, there are a few gameplay balance tweaks to speak of too. The Town Hall 11 Eagle Artillery now deals three times more damage to Golems and Golemites than in the previous build. Town Hall 6 and 7 is also becoming more powerful thanks to a second air defense being unlocked at level 6 and a third unlocked at 7. A few minor bugs have also been addressed in relation to stuck troops, spell donations and upgrades.
“Clash Of Clans'” Treasury update arrives in response to intense backlash against the Town Hall 11 patch that was released last month. Many of the game’s most dedicated players found that its sweeping changes made loot farming too difficult. The three additions discussed above exist to ensure that resource stocks remain high enough to encourage attacks.
“Clash Of Clans” is available now as a free download on Android or iOS devices.
