Numerous fans were frustrated with the major Clash of Clans update as it drastically changed the game and made it difficult for players to earn loot. A new issue has sprung up recently as players are reportedly receiving less rewards for winning Clan Wars.
Clash of Clans Update
A couple of clashers said they are now receiving less Clan War resource rewards since the update went live. “I just went up to th11, and pre update I’d see up to 720k of each for the toy guy,” V4Venom posted on the Clash of Clans forums. “Now I’ve found the top guy is th 10 he’s around 490k?!?! That is a colossal drop.”
Take note that attacking lower Town Hall levels both in Clan Wars and village raids will yield less resource rewards. However, even those who attack the same Town Hall level are reportedly seing a huge reduction in Clan Wars rewards. “When I was a Th10 hitting another Th10 in war, the bonus was around 600-670k,” MaxHansen said. “Now I’ve been hitting Th11 for 490k.”
There are only a few people who responded on the forums so it remains to be known if this is just an isolated case. A probable reason for the low resource rewards is that a number of players upgraded their Town Hall level immediately without upgrading their resources and structures. A high TH with low defensive strength will not grant a high resource reward to players.
Veteran Clash of Clans player Ash recently said the major Clash of Clans update encouraged players to rush in getting the TH11 because there were not incentives enough to stay in TH10. This means that a number of players who haven’t fully upgraded their structures might have rushed to upgrade their Town Hall.
